when you want to enjoy indian street food then you have to keep aside your guilt feeling. because it may not be healthy or hygienic at times. in my college days i used to enjoy mumbai street food a lot, but now i prefer to make these recipes at home. best part of making these recipes at home is that they are more hygienic and you can make prepare them as per your taste and liking. e.g. you can alter the ingredients to suit your taste buds.
street food from cities like mumbai, delhi, kolkatta, indore are quite famous. each city has their own variety and style of making any particular dish. e.g. golgappa of delhi is made in a different way then the ‘pani puri’ of mumbai or ‘puchka’ of kolkata. so you will get to enjoy the different flavors and tastes in a pani puri, if you happen to eat them in different cities.
