  4. I have been following you on T V commercials for some time now. As I am a vegetarian I was looking for a good recipe for the cream of sweet corn soup. I do have what you gave us online, should you have others I will appreciate them . Thank you for bringing us vegetarians the same taste as others enjoy while keeping ourselves free of meat dishes. God Bless You.(Pandit Kishor Dutt Maharaj.)

  5. This looks so appetizing! I’m planning to make it for a party this week and I’m not sure I can source fresh celery. But I have a bottled of dried celery with me. Can I use that instead? Also, is it fine to omit the mushrooms since some of my guests don’t eat it?

  6. Hello does the tomato sauce in the sweet and sour vegetables refer to the ones we buy in a can or the ketchup kind?

  7. Dear Dassana,
Thanks for replying on my query for tandoor. This tym i have a new query. All of your indo chinese dishes include celery. But I dont know its Hindi name and unable to find it in nearby market. Can I use coriander leaves?

    1. hi akriti. celery is known as celery. even the vegetable vendors call it celery. but there is a variety of celery called as ajmod or radhuni. these are wild celery and their seeds form a part of the bengali paanch phoran spice mix. you can add coriander leaves instead of celery. they will add their own flavor to the dish. and in indo chinese cooking, its alright to add coriander as in many places they add coriander leaves.
