  2. Hi, I have tried your cake first time but I just wanted to ask that why didn’t you add baking powder?

    1. Glad you tried the cake. This recipe uses baking soda along with an acidic ingredient like vinegar or lemon juice, which helps the cake rise. So baking powder is not needed here.
