Notes
Watermelon: Use ripe, sweet watermelon for the best taste and flavor. Cut and prep it using the method shown in the step-by-step photos above or the method that you know or prefer.
Watermelon juice combinations: Add citrus fruits like lime, pomelo, or lemon. For floral notes, use rosewater, orange blossom water, hibiscus tea, or gulkand (Indian rose petal jam). For herbal flavor, add mint, basil, coriander (cilantro), or tarragon. For spice, add fresh ginger, cumin powder, or a pinch of cinnamon.
Garnishes: Garnish with black salt, chaat masala, or black pepper. For mint or citrus versions, mint leaves and chaat masala work well.
Make ahead: This juice tastes best fresh but can be refrigerated for a few hours. Leftovers can be frozen into popsicles or ice cubes.
