Ganga Jamuna juice is a simple and refreshing juice made with equal parts of oranges and sweet limes. This Mumbai-style juice has a balanced sweet and tangy flavor, making it perfect for hot days. You can adjust sugar depending on the sweetness of the fruits and add a bit of black salt for extra taste. Serve immediately for the best flavor and freshness.
Peel and remove the segments from the oranges and sweet limes.
Add the citrus segments to the feeder tube of the juicer. Tip: You can also halve the fruits and manually extract the juice using a citrus fruit juicer.
Extract the juice from the juicer and pour it in a bowl or pan.
Add sugar as required. Also add black salt.
Mix well to dissolve the sugar. Pour the juice in glasses.
Serve Ganga Jamuna juice immediately, as it can turn bitter if kept for a few minutes.
Add a few ice cubes if you prefer while serving.
You can also sprinkle a few pinches of chaat masala or roasted cumin powder for extra flavor.
Notes
Use sweet oranges and sweet tasting sweet limes for best taste.
Adjust sugar depending on how sweet or tangy the fruits are.
Black salt is optional and can be skipped.
