easy mango ice cream
mango ice cream recipe - easy to prepare one bowl mango recipe with condensed milk. this is a three ingredient recipe - mangoes, cream and sweetened condensed milk. ice cream maker is not required to make this mango ice cream recipe.

- 560 grams mangoes OR 3 medium alphonso mangoes
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk, 400 grams
- 3.5 cups chilled cream, 25% to 50% fat
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract, OPTIONAL
making mango ice cream mixture
rinse and then wipe dry 3 medium sized alphonso mangoes (560 grams).
then chop the mangoes.
add the chopped mangoes in a blender jar or a bullet mixer.
also add 1 can of sweetened condensed milk (400 grams).
blend till smooth and keep aside.
in another large bowl take 3.5 cups chilled cream (25 to 35% fat). you can even use whipping cream. with a electric beater begin to whip the cream.
whip till you get stiff peaks on medium-high to high speed. do not overdo as the cream can curdle.
then add the mango+condensed milk mixture. you can even add ½ teaspoon vanilla extract at this step.
on a low speed, using the electric blender, whip till everything is mixed well and the ice cream mixture is homogeneous.
level with a spatula.
freezing mango ice cream
cover the bowl with a tight lid or seal tightly with aluminium foil or cling wrap.
freeze for 6 to 7 hours or overnight. for a more softer texture, after the ice cream is half set, you can remove it from the bowl and then whip again.
before serving, keep the ice cream bowl at room temperature for some minutes till you can easily scoop it out. with an ice cream scoop, remove the ice cream.
serve mango ice cream in bowls or ice cream cups.
you can decorate mango ice cream with cherries, tutti frutti, chocolate shavings, chopped mango cubes or chocolate sauce.
