Tawa Pulao

Cook basmati rice in water to which some salt and oil are added. The rice should be cooked well and the grains should be separate.

Melt butter in a pan and sauté cumin seeds in it till browned.

Add chopped onions and sauté till translucent.

Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté till the raw aroma goes away. To know more, swipe up!

Add chopped tomatoes and chopped green capsicum. Mix.

Add pav bhaji masala, red chili powder and turmeric powder.

Stir and sauté on low heat till the butter leaved the sides of the pan.

Add steamed veggies - green peas, chopped carrot, chopped potato and salt. You can even add French beans and cauliflower.

Stir and add the drained cooked rice.

Gently stir to mix uniformly.
