Take hung curd or Greek yogurt in a mixing bowl.

Add cubed paneer to the hung curd marinade.

Add water (optional) and grind coarsely.

Add hung curd or thick curd.

Grind to a smooth chutney. Remove in a bowl and keep aside.

Add chaat masala, Kashmiri chili powder, lemon juice and salt to the vegetables.

Mix well and keep the veg salad aside.

For the dough, add whole wheat flour and salt in a large mixing bowl.

Knead to a smooth, soft dough. Cover and keep aside for 20 to 30 minutes.

To make roti, divide the dough into small or medium size balls.

Dust the dough ball with some flour.

Gently, roll out into a thin roti.

Place the roti on a hot tawa.

Cook the base till you see bubbles appearing on the roti.

Then, flip the roti.

Spread some oil all over the roti.

Flip again, when the second side is half cooked.

Spread oil on this side too.

Flip once or twice more for even roasting. Press the edges with a spatula so that the edges are also cooked well.

Pan fry the paneer cubes, turning often, till the marinade is cooked and the paneer is soft.
