Bring water to a boil in a pan. Add tomatoes and broken dried red chilies.

Begin to boil the tomatoes and dried red chilies on medium heat.

Then, drain the water and allow the tomatoes and red chilies to cool to room temperature.

When the tomatoes cool down, slice off the top eye part and peel the skin. Crush and add to a blender jar along with dried red chilies, chopped garlic and black pepper.

Add salt and sugar to the blender jar.

Blend to a fine and smooth chutney, without adding water.
