Lemon Pickle

Firstly, prepare the lemons by rinsing them in water and drying them well. What more, swipe up to know!

Once the lemons are dry, cut each lemon one by one into 4 parts, without cutting through completely.

Squeeze a little juice from each lemon, keeping the shape and fullness intact. To know about the seeds, swipe up!

Take carom seeds, red chili powder or cayenne pepper and salt in a bowl.

Mix the spices well.

Using a spoon or your fingers, stuff and coat each lemon with the spice mixture. Reserve the leftover spice mixture.

Pour in the lemon juice that was squeezed previously. Make sure to not add the seeds.

Sprinkle the reserved spice mixture over the lemons in the jar.

Sprinkle some more salt over the lemons. This helps save the lemons from spoilage during the pickling process.
