Proceed further by crushing the seeds to a fine powder.

Next, take chilled fresh yogurt or homemade curd in a bowl.

Now, whip the curd till its smooth. Use a handheld wooden churner, immersion blender or a wired whisk for this.

The curd should be smooth before adding other ingredients.

Now, sweeten the curd with sugar.

Begin to churn or blend the lassi mixture once again.

Keep churning till the sugar dissolves and a frothy layer on top is achieved.

This is how a nice frothy layer on top will look like.

Flavor the sweet lassi with crushed cardamom powder and crushed saffron strands.

Mix one last time. Check the taste and add more sugar, if required.
