Begin to heat the sugar solution till it comes to a boil.

Heat a heavy thick bottomed pan and add ghee in it.

Let the ghee melt completely.

Add whole wheat flour to the melted ghee.

Stir the flour well into the ghee.

Mix the whole wheat flour and fry on low to medium-low heat.

Mix very well to get a mixture without lumps.

On low heat, fry the whole wheat flour in ghee. Stir non-stop.

Stir well to mix.

Next, add the second part of the hot sugar solution.

Mix and cook the kada prashad, stirring non-stop.

The mixture will thicken as it gets cooked and ghee will also be released from the sides.

Continue to stir non-stop and cook till the mixture becomes one mass and leaves the sides of the pan.
