Hot Chocolate

Begin by chopping semi-sweet or any other chocolate of your choice.

Add the chopped chocolate to a small mixing bowl and keep aside.

Heat full fat or whole milk in a saucepan.

Add unrefined raw or white granulated sugar or maple syrup.

Heat the milk on medium-low heat. Stir frequently so that the sugar dissolves.

As soon as the milk reaches a gentle boil, switch off the heat and remove the pan from the stovetop.

Add hot milk to the bowl containing the chopped chocolate.

Whisk well to melt the chocolate.

The melted chocolate should be completely smooth and not grainy.

Pour melted chocolate in the hot milk in the saucepan.

Mix very well with a whisk.

Add vanilla extract, stir and mix again.
