Fruit Custard

Heat milk in a thick bottomed pan till it comes to a gentle simmer.

Take some warm milk in a bowl, add custard powder to it. To know more, swipe up!

With a whisk, mix very well to make a smooth slurry without lumps.

When the milk in the pan has come to a gentle simmer, add sugar and stir till it dissolves.

Keep the heat on low and start adding the custard slurry in parts.

Stir quickly so that the mixture does not form lumps.

Keep stirring and cook the custard on low heat for about 5 to 6 minutes.

The custard mixture will thicken slowly and the raw taste of the cornstarch will go away. Pour in a bowl, cover and cool to room temperature.

Add the chopped fruits to the cooled custard.

Mix well.
