Arrange puris or golgappas on a plate, then break them from the top center using your fingers or a spoon to create space for the fillings.

Stuff them with chopped boiled potatoes (batata or aloo).

Next, add chopped onions.

Sprinkle some chaat masala, roasted cumin powder and black salt or regular salt on the filling.
