Chilli Paneer

Place two tablespoons cornstarch and three tablespoons flour in bowl.

Next add ½ teaspoon ginger paste and ½ teaspoon garlic paste to the bowl.

Add ¼ tsp crushed black pepper or black pepper powder and ¼ teaspoon Kashmiri red chilli powder.

Add ¼ cup of water and whisk well.

Next, add the paneer cubes to the bowl. With a spoon, gently coat the paneer cubes with the batter.

Pan fry the paneer cubes hot oil in a pan.

Fry on all sides until golden brown.

Remove the fried paneer cubes & place them on kitchen paper towels for the extra oil to be absorbed.

Add 2 tsp finely chopped ginger, 2 tsp finely chopped garlic, & 2 to 3 sliced green chillies.

Cook on high heat for a couple minutes, then add the spring onions. Cook for one to two minutes. Add sliced capsicum.

Stir fry on medium flake for 3-4 minutes. Lower flame and add ½ teaspoon Kashmiri chilli powder.

Add soy sauce and red chilli sauce. Stir & mix the sauces & red chilli powder with the remaining ingredients.

Add ½ to ⅔ cup of water, then mix well.

Let the mixture come to a simmer on medium to medium-high flame.

On a medium high flame, allow the mixture to come to a simmer.

Place one tablespoon cornstarch in a bowl. Add 2-3 tablespoons of water to the starch.

Mix very well, then pour the mixture into the chilli sauce.

Mix the sauce very well, then add sugar. Mix very well until the sauce has thickiened.

Add the pan fried paneer cubes.

Mix well with gravy.

Switch off the flame and add rice or white vinegar if you want.

Add about 2 to 3 tablespoons of chopped spring onions greens

Serve garnished with spring onions!
