paneer sandwich recipe – this veg paneer sandwich which i make sometimes, is a variation of the bombay veg sandwich. along with the paneer, veggies & the green chutney, the sandwich becomes a healthy one.

if you don’t have the veggies, then you can still make the sandwich with the paneer stuffing. in this recipe i made a fusion of italian and indian flavors. the paneer has italian-indian herbs in it, whilst the veggies is spiced with indian spices. for the paneer stuffing, i have used basil leaves, celery and coriander. if you want to make sandwich with indian flavors then you can check this grilled paneer sandwich recipe.

  1. Hi Dassana,
I was wondering if I could chop all the veggies (beetroot, onion and potato) and mix it with the planner stuffing? Would that work? I am also planning on making this for the party along with Samosa. Would I be able to double/triple the recipe? Thanks a lot! Not sure what I would do with your recipes! Lots of love to you. Happy New Year!

    • nita, you can do this way. yes you can double or triple the recipe. thanks a lot and hugs. happy new year to you as well 🙂

      • Hi Dassana, this was the first time I made sandwiches for the party. It was super easy and delicious 😋. I skipped the beat roots and onions as I was not sure if kids would eat it, but just added grated carrots and potatoes to the paneer! Adding the basil leaves made such a refreshing difference! Thanks so much. This one is going to be my go to recipe from now. Thank a lot my dear. Hugs.

        • Welcome Nita. Thanks for your positive and sweet feedback on paneer sandwich. Glad to know that you liked this recipe so much.

  5. Dassana, love this recipe….my kids dont like paneer, I am going to make this and trick them with this sandwich, now why dint I think of this before…..thanks for the idea and the great recipe.

  6. Dassana, like all recipes, this one is a fabulous one too! I like your sandwich maker and it made me happy. I haven’t seen that kind in ages. I find it more convenient than the electric one as you can control how much you need to heat it and how you like the crust on the sandwiches.

    • thanks family cook. the toaster is an old one but still working good. it is convenient as if someone wants a more browned or less browned toast, then one does have a control.

  7. Yummy paneer veg sandwich so good and inviting.
