cheese garlic toast recipe with step by step photos – a quick breakfast recipe for the early morning hours when we don’t have enough time to prepare an elaborate breakfast.

in the hustle and bustle of city life we sometime skip our breakfast, which is an important meal of the day. toasts, sandwiches, porridge, smoothies, juices and fruit salad are good option for folks who don’t have much time in morning to prepare their breakfast.

i have already posted a similar recipe of cheese chilli toast and few other quick recipes like:

  1. rava toast
  2. bombay toast sandwich
  3. paneer sandwich
  4. moong sprouts salad

just make sure you use a healthy loaf of bread or baguette made with whole wheat, oats, multi grain and other healthy flours.

for the garlic butter spread, i have used celery. skip celery if you don’t have it. if you have ample time before hand, then you can also make your own brown bread or whole wheat bread or garlic bread at home.

    • thanks avni. if you are looking for baking a lot, then OTG or a regular oven is good. i am not sure which brand is good. currently i am using a basic philips oven and its good.

  • Well to be very honest........what i found most important and interesting is the writing style. Its very simple yet very impressive.....it dosent let one's mind get diverted. Multiple choices given for methods in many recipies, generally people do not share these secrets or techniques......thats wat made ur recipes outstanding. I cannot taste the food direct from the site but can test the human being behind the recipies. Your Touch in evry field will make a difference. Try and keep this helping spirit. Love and best wishes.....

    • thanks sreetama for these kind words and appreciation. it helps to know that readers are liking the blog style.

  • Hi, I find your style very impressive and the images help a lot. I don't cook much and dont bake at all, but love baked items and would like to experiment at home. I only have a microwave oven, so is there a way to use this instead for cakes and bread items?

    • thanks krita. if you have the convection option in your microwave oven, then you can easily bake anything like cakes, breads or cookies. the convection is basically meant for baking and grilling. you will have to check the manufacturer's guide to know if convection option is there or not in your microwave oven.

  • I try your recipes.all recipe s are great in taste .you have explain all these in very easy and immpressive way.
Thank you for mouth watering recipes.

  • Very nice recipe taste really delicious I used ghee instead of butter turn out well'also tried paneer makhani taste same as restaurants thanks a lots for such nice recipes explanation want to try more and more recipes

  • You said preheat the oven at 180°c but you didn't mention for how much time I need for preheating at that temperature?

    • preheat is usually done for about 10 to 15 minutes. for the cheese toasts, you can preheat 10 minutes before baking them.

  • This is one of the best site for all levels of cooking experts..

However for beginner, the outline of procedure and quantity is very good. Please Also mention the mode of microwave cooking..

    • thanks a lot. these toasts can be made in the convection mode of the microwave oven. preheat the oven in convection mode for about 10 mins. place the toasts in a tray or pan and bake till the cheese melts. use the same temperature as mentioned in the recipe, for preheating as well as baking in the convection mode.

  • Hi Dassana,

Yesterday I tried the cheese garlic toast. My Hubby and son both loved it, but without cheese. Its really easy to make and only few ingredients needed. My 5 yrs son he did on his own everything and put in the oven to bake. If possible put some recipes of cake with fondant or marzipan.

    • hi sunitha, agree the recipe is easy. even kids can prepare it. making fondant from scratch is tricky and not easy. i have made fondant some years back and its one time consuming work. but yes marzipan is easy and can be used as a fondant to cover the cake. i have one recipe using marzipan as a layer for the cake. not yet tried. whenever i try it i will add also on the blog.
